Julian Assange, the founder of Wikileaks and the bringer of amazing information to us all has been under direct attack for the past 7 years. In this phone call Julian provides the Clinton legal team with a ‘heads up’ that potentially disruptive, and dangerous revelations could be imminent and individuals exposed to potentially damaging outcomes: hardly the image of the rogue villain the U.K authorities are claiming!
It seems Julian Assange has requested a Presidential pardon from President Trump, there is increasing talk of this happening.
If our society is going to claim that journalism and free access to information is part of our Democratic way of life, then Julian Assange should be free to go, and lead his life in peace. It is only hostile elements in the Democrat camp who are determined to punish/kill Assange, because he revealed parts of the American war campaign which involved slaughtering innocent civilians from a distance.
I think most fair minded individuals and officials understand that Julian Assange does not deserve the treatment he has suffered for many years now; he is held in a maximum security prison in the U.K, among rapists, murderers.
