You have to wonder how such a petition could even be allowed publication by a responsible organization. Because Pewds has such a large subscriber community he faces continuous flack from media-envious groups who can’t even imagine gaining the same level of traction. Legacy media in particular seems to have an axe to grind. I think Pewdiepie gives a good account of his position here, and roasts the publisher and author of this very silly petition.
